Your data. Clearly explained.

Data controller and contact

LEGRAIN GmbH, Schönhauser Allee 168a, 10435 Berlin, Germany. For questions about the processing of your data, contact info@united-for-children.org.

Visiting this website

The website, locally stored images and fonts are served through IONOS web hosting. Technical connections may involve processing your IP address, the time, requested address and browser information to provide and protect the site.

We use a technically necessary session cookie for the protected editorial area and any enabled private preview. It supports sign-in and protection against unauthorised access.

Contacting us

The contact form collects your topic, name, email address and message. Providing a company name is optional. We store the enquiry in a protected inbox so the team can handle and answer it. Your information is not automatically sent to a newsletter service.

For contract-related enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other enquiries, it is our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Please do not send particularly sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

Form entries are retained for handling and scheduled for deletion after no more than 180 days. Older entries are removed when new enquiries are processed and when the inbox is opened. Statutory retention obligations arising from a subsequent business relationship are handled separately.

Protection against abusive enquiries

To limit repeated submissions, we use a time-limited value derived with a secret key. Your IP address is not stored in the contact inbox. These protection values are scheduled for deletion after no more than two hours and cleared when the next form submission is processed.

External links and media

Ticket and donation links lead to AXS, Eventim and UNICEF. Their services are accessed when you open a link. Videos are embedded through YouTube after you click “Watch film”. This establishes a connection to YouTube, whose privacy information applies. Original images are stored on our webspace. Video preview images may load through YouTube. These providers receive technical connection data. Fonts are stored locally.

The website does not use its own marketing or analytics scripts. The following information applies to external content.

Insta-Blog

Opening the Insta-Blog page immediately loads the unitedforchildren_festival Instagram profile in an embedded window. Your browser connects to Instagram (Meta) and sends technical connection data, including your IP address. Instagram may use cookies and similar technologies and associate data with an account signed in there. Read the Instagram privacy policy for information about Meta’s processing.

UNICEF events

The events calendar is opened through a link to UNICEF’s website. Your browser connects to UNICEF when you open that link. UNICEF’s privacy notices apply to your visit there.

Your rights

Subject to the relevant statutory conditions, your rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact us at the email address above.

Editorial access and publication

The editorial area is available only to explicitly authorised people after signing in. It is used to maintain website content and handle contact enquiries.
