UNICEF projects in Namibia

Water and education for Namibia.

These projects include solar-powered wells that draw clean water from depths of up to 360 metres – in places where otherwise there is no water for kilometres around. They provide water for people and animals. Because water is life.

We support the construction of the planned Oshaango Combined School in the Ohangwena region of northern Namibia. The school is intended to provide overnight accommodation for 130 children. Staying on site is intended to spare them long daily journeys to school and make regular attendance easier. The project has been designed and planned. Our goal is to bring the school to life exactly as planned – as a place where children can discover their abilities and shape their future.
